Dr. James Unger is a Missouri native with over 40 years of experience! He takes a caring approach to each and every case he sees, and the result of his thoughtfulness and expertise are apparent in the beautiful results.

Dr. Unger loves to see the joy in patients when they finally get to see their amazing smiles after treatment! His practice prides itself on caring, dedicated staff who are committed to providing the best care possible for every patient. His long career in orthodontics has allowed him to be part of a vibrant, thriving practice that has grown all through the 41 years he has been in business. For 14 years and counting, Unger Orthodontics has been named one of the Best Orthodontic Practices in the St. Louis area!

Dr. Unger recently celebrated his 50th anniversary with his wife Barb, and enjoys the time they can spend with their three children and seven grandchildren. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Unger enjoys all types of water sports at Lake of the Ozarks, and spending time in his woodworking shop during the winter months.
